ONE HOST. EVERYONE JOINS IN.

Your first game night.

Two to four players, each with a phone or browser. Choose how you want to play; household accounts are optional.

Choose your setup. One person starts the room; everyone else joins it.

Browser screen and phonesShared stage · one room all evening

The browser hosts. Your phones play.

  1. Choose the line-up. Plan a Game Night on the homepage, or pick a game in the catalogue. Choose Host to open the shared stage on a laptop, tablet or browser-connected screen.
  2. Send the invitation. Copy or share the lobby link into WhatsApp, or scan its QR code. The host screen does not use a player seat.
  3. Join and start. Two to four people join on their phones. The host starts when everyone is ready. For a solo phone demonstration, the homepage’s Try with your phone option includes two labelled practice players.
  4. Keep the evening together. Answer privately, reveal together, and move through the applied Game Night line-up with the same invitation. Pause the clock when you want more time to read.

Guest play is available. If you want saved players and School progress, link your household before players join. A local computer preview needs phones on the same Wi-Fi.

Everyone on phonesAvailable now · browser · no TV needed

One player starts. The others join.

  1. Start a room. One player chooses a game in the hub, enters their name and creates a room. This player hosts and plays.
  2. Invite your people. Share the lobby’s join link, or let others scan its QR code. Each person joins in their own browser.
  3. Choose names and settings. Saved players use their profile PIN. Guests can join when allowed. Pick 10, 15 or 20 rounds and start when two to four players are ready.
  4. Play together. Everyone sees questions and answers on their phone. Lock your answer; the host controls progress between rounds.

You can start as guests. Family profiles are optional.

Apple TV and phonesPrivate TestFlight · invited testers

The TV hosts. Phones are the controllers.

The native Apple TV app is in private testing and is not yet for sale on the App Store.

  1. Open ClanQuiz on Apple TV. Choose a collection and game with the remote to create the lobby.
  2. Scan the TV’s QR code. Everyone joins on their phone, choosing a saved player and PIN or an allowed guest. No phone app is needed.
  3. Start the show. Choose the match settings in the lobby, then start with the remote once two to four players have joined.
  4. Look up. Answer on your phone. Questions, pictures and reveals are on TV. Rounds resolve when everyone locks in or time runs out. The final answer appears before the podium.

Game Night keeps the same QR through several games. Anyone in another home can show the question on their phone using Read.

For installation or tester access, contact the person who invited you.

Joining from another homeSame room · a shared link · up to four players

Join their room, wherever you are.

  1. Ask for the join link or room code. Open the link on your phone or computer. You do not need to scan the TV.
  2. Make the question visible. For a TV-hosted room, choose Show the full question on this phone (for remote players) when joining. During play, Read also brings the question onto your phone.
  3. Chat on a separate call. Use your usual voice or video call if you want to talk. ClanQuiz does not include a call.

The same four-player limit applies across homes. If the room is full or has started, its watch option lets you follow without taking a player seat.

SINGAPORE SCHOOL PLAY

Study together. Practise at your own pace.

For a shared game, choose School in the hub, then English, Maths, Science, Malay or Mandarin. Select Primary 3–6 and a skill focus. The phone’s working pad is private; optional hints help players start.

For solo practice, choose an eight-question untimed set. Saved players can revisit missed or assisted questions from their School games. These are original syllabus-informed activities, not official PSLE papers.

Save their character and progress

A parent-owned household keeps player profiles, avatars, PINs and records together. Guests can still play when the host allows them. Keep passwords, recovery keys and player PINs private.
